Heavy favorite Gold Rocket A and driver Tony Morgan led from gate to wire in the $28,000 Delaware Special Monday night at Dover, stopping the clock in 1:53.1.

Gold Rocket A, a 7-year-old gelding by Armbro Operative, took command through fractions of :27.4, :57.4 and 1:25.1 to win by half a length for trainer Charles Crissman Jr. and owners Wayne Pryor and Wendy Crissman. Black Cat Bone (Ron Pierce) was second and Cool Flying Fun (Jim Morand) took third.

In other Dover action, Keystone Rodeo and driver Brad Hanners won by a nose in Monday night's $30,000 Preferred Handicap pace in 1:52.2.

After favorite Thin Blue Line (Tony Morgan) faded on the front end, Keystone Rodeo was named the winner in a three-way photo. Mark's Secret Love (Ron Pierce) eked out second and Casimir Bad Boy (Howard Davis Jr.) was third by a head.

Also at Dover Monday night, Fox Valley Armor won the $22,000 4-year-old Open Pace in 1:52.4.

One of Tony Morgan's five driving wins on the night, Fox Valley Armor led the entire mile to win by ½ length over Wireless Hanover (Tim Curtin) and Print It (Frank Milby) for owners Sam Jacobs, Ron Reed and Crissman Inc. Fox Valley Armor (Sportsmaster) took his third win in 2006 for trainer Tim Crissman.
