Rocknroll tops Jolt

Rocknroll Hanover rolled past Village Jolt in the lane and captured the $25,000 second elimination for the SBOA New Jersey Classic at the Meadowlands in 1:52.3 Saturday night. In the first elim Load The Dice rallied from of the pace and scored his first victory of the season in 1:51.



Rocknroll Hanover and Brian Sears swept into the lead after an opening quarter in :28.1, then yielded to Village Jolt and Ron Pierce, who took the field past the half in :56.2 and the three-quarters in 1:24.4. But it was there that Rocknroll Hanover tipped out and in the lane rolled past Village Jolt en route to his second triumph of the season in as many starts. Strong Player and George Brennan came from third to be second ahead of Village Jolt.



Bret Pelling trains the winner for Jeffrey Snyder and Lothlorien Equestrian Center.



In the first elim Jo Pa's Shark and Brennan appeared to have the race in had after South Park Hanover went wide in the final turn while challenging for the lead. But in deep stretch David Miller had Load The Dice flying to the wire for the victory. Jo Pa's Shark held on for second with Cam's Fool and John Campbell third.



The winner, a Cam's Card Shark colt is trained by Chris Ryder for owners Brittany Farms and Daisy Acres.
