Rose Run Flash had just enough to hold off a late charge from Go Nano Go to win the $22,000 Jr. Open Trot at Dover Downs in 1:56.2 on Wednesday, while Rattlesnake Jake won the sub-feature $15,000 trot. Tony Morgan racked up a five-win night.

Dropping down from the Open ranks, Mike Cole drove Rose Run Flash for trainer Trish Foulk and owners Lauren Allen and Foulk Stables to her ninth win of the year in the feature trot of the week. Go Nano Go closed with conviction for Eddie Davis and came within a scant nose of victory to finish second. Tug River Man and Ross Wolfenden finished third.

Veteran chestnut Rattlesnake Jake made good use of starting from post one as George Dennis drove the 9-year-old Schimitar gelding to victory in a $15,000 conditioned trot. Fred and Anita Fialkow and Harness The Power own Rattlesnake Jake, now a winner of $329,931 lifetime. Travelin Lite (Wolfenden), off at 35-1, finished second. A 41-1 shot Bullville Sue (Bret Brittingham) was third.

In a $30,000 claiming allowance pace, Morgan picked up the first of his five winners escorting Chris Choros' Johnny Be Cool N to the winner's circle following a 1:52.4 triumph. GE's Jackson (Corey Callahan) got second money with Devil's Ivy (Mike Cole) taking third.

Morgan also drove the winner of the $25,000 claiming allowance, Sam Jacobs and Crissman Inc.'s Cash Only Please, a 1:54 winner from post eight. Solid Hanover (Jonathan Roberts) and Pacific Rider (Roger Plante) were second and third, respectively. (Dover Downs)
