Rushmore Hanover outdrew his seven rivals and made 'em all pay Friday night, winning Yonkers Raceway's featured $21,000 high-conditioned trot.

With Brent Holland driving for trainer Larry Remmen, Rushmore Hanover stuffed 8-5 choice Stunt Man Hall (Jason Bartlett) into the pocket before a  29-second opening quarter mile. Rushmore Hanover then found a :59.4 intermission with no one leaving the cones.

Libra Vita (Ryan Anderson) pulled from third, engaging "Rushmore" going toward the 1:29.2 three-quarters. Rushmore Hanover owned a half-length lead  turning for home, with Stunt Man Hall diving inside and Libra Vita hanging around.

Rushmore Hanover held sway by that same half-length margin in 1:58.3. Stunt Man Hall chased but couldn't reach, with Libra Vita, I'm a Sakra (Mike Forte)  and Passito (Jordan Stratton) completing the cashers.

For Rushmore Hanover, a 5-year-old Credit Winner gelding owned by John Lichtenberger, he returned $9.20 (third choice) for his second win in seven seasonal starts. The exacta paid $35, with the triple returning $153.50.

Friday night also included five, $12,500 divisions in the opening round of the Petticoat Pacing Series for 3- and 4-year-old young ladies.
