San Remo Kosmos and Andy Miller went wire to wire Firday night and captured the $50,000 second leg of the Su Mac Lad Series for free-for-all trotters in 1:53.1 at the Meadowlands, defeating Before He Cheats by two lengths.

Leaving from the outside post in the six-horse field, San Remo Kosmos was rushed right to the lead and was never headed as he trotted fractions of :27.4, :56.2 and 1:25.1 en route to his second victory of the year in eight starts.

Jimmy Takter trains the 5-year-old SJ’s Photo gelding for the Upstate Downstate Stable and the Lindy Racing Stable. He has career earnings of $384,974.
