Andy Santeramo posted four wins on Saturday night’s card at Tioga Downs. In the co-featured $14,000 Fillies and Mares Open Handicap Pace he steered Head Over Heels to victory in 1:55.1. Santeramo also trains the 5-year old Mach Three-Love N Touch mare for J L Benson Stables Inc. of Fort Lauderdale, Fla. It was the fifth win in 17 starts for Head Over Heels who with the victory has banked more than $46,000 in 2009.

Easy Feelin and Greg Merton cut out fractions of :27.4, :56.4 and 1:26.1 before being pressured by the first-over grind of Head Over Heels. Santeramo scored by a neck over Greg Merton and Easy Feelin, while Winbak Delight and Jim Taggart Jr. paced home late for third.

In the $14,000 Open Handicap Trot, Jimmy Marohn Jr. and Yankee Nola sat the pocket trip behind pacesetting Diva Diva through fractions of :28.2, :58, and 1:27. As the field turned for home at the top of the stretch Marohn and Yankee Nola vacated the pocket and sprinted past to score in 1:56.2. The mile established a new seasonal mark for the 7-year-old SJ’s Photo-Nila Domarr mare for trainer-owner Tyler Raymer. It was the fourth win in 12 starts for Yankee Nola and increased her seasonal bankroll to more than $56,000.

Santeramo also picked up wins in the first race with Octavia, the third with Carrythemail Devie, and 11th and final with Oh My Sydney. (Tioga Downs)
