The Asbury Park (N.J.) Press has reported that Standardbred owner Howard M. Schoor, who also owns Showplace Farms, was indicted Thursday on charges that he paid $16,000 in bribes to two Ocean Township officials in an effort to secure business. Schoor founded one of the largest civil engineering firms in New Jersey, Schoor DePalma.
