Scott Zeron, who celebrated his 18th birthday May 23, and the son of veteran driver Rick Zeron, drove his first winner Tuesday night at Georgian Downs, scoring with Malabar Di Jesolo, a trotter he shares ownership of with his dad.
Although Zeron got away in the back of the pack with Malabar Di Jesolo, he was able to rally the 5-year-old son of Malabar Man to the 1:59.1 victory, actually drawing clear by more than five lengths under the wire.
