Self Professed made his second qualifying start of the year Friday morning at the Meadowlands, winning by three-quarters of a length over Cadillac Hall in 1:57.3 for driver Ron Pierce. Self Professed, a 3-year-old son of Self Possessed, was lightly raced last year, capturing a division of the Bluegrass Stakes at The Red Mile last fall in one of his only six starts.

Another notable 3-year-old winner at the Meadowlands Friday morning was Allamerican Inca, who scored in 1:52.4 by two lengths over Syncro's Z Tam, also with Pierce driving.

This was the third qualifier of the year for the 3-year-old gelded son of Western Hanover who took a mark of 1:50.4 last year and earned $390,163 with victories in the International Stallion and Bluegrass Stakes and was second in the Breeders Crown final.

In another Meadowlands qualifier, Windylane Hanover, the 2003 Dan Patch Trotting Mare of the Year, was a seven-length winner for Pierce in 1:55.
