Self Professed made it two-in-a-row in scoring a 1:55.4 victory in the $24,000 Open Handicap Trot while Racsan Jenny put away eight rivals to win the $21,000 Jr. Open on Wednesday at Dover Downs. Tony Morgan had a driving triple.

In the feature, Martin Scharf's Self Professed enjoyed a perfect two-hole trip behind Tim Curtin's trot-setter Jake's Nordic until the top of the lane when Brad Hanners pulled the Self Possessed half brother to Political Briefing to the outside and cruised home a 1:55.4 winner. Ross Wolfenden urged Saint Johns Boy through the stretch to take second in front of Jake's Nordic.

The win is the second straight in three 2007 starts with a third giving the winner an early season bankroll of $26,880. Self Professed has now earned $573,371 in his career.

In the day's penultimate trot, Racsan Jenny showed her grit fighting off an extended challenge from Go Nano Go and Eddie Davis on the backstretch and then withstood fast finishing Litigator with Tim Tetrick in the stretch to post a 1:56.2 wire-to-wire victory in the $21,000 Jr. Open Trot.

Steve Warrington drove the 7-year-old Program Speed mare, which was the horseman's 4,996th career win. Armbro Corbin, driven by Wolfenden, was a steady third. Racsan Jenny is owned by Don Hawk, John Hynansky and trainer Dan Warrington and now has won $172,020 lifetime.

Art Stafford's Vicki Gram stalked Put Them On Hold from the start then closed along the passing lane to get up for a 1:57 triumph in a $15,500 winners-over trot. The win for the Art Stafford Jr.-driven Valley Victor mare was her second in three starts. Put Them On Hold (Toby Lynch) held on for second. Sandy's Attitude (Morgan) closed on the inside for third.
