On Tuesday, April 6, Shady Sabrina won the $30,000 Mares Open/Handicap pace for the second straight week with a career fastest clocking of 1:52 at Dover Downs. Earlier All Or None came within a fifth-of-second of a track record winning the $20,000 Mares pace in 1:50.1. Tim Tetrick chalked up his fourth win on the card, steering Shady Sabrina to victory in 1:52. It was the Cam's Dignity-Mymymymysharona eight-year-old's fifth win of the year. After closing from far back last week, Shady Sabrina went right to the front this time for a convincing 2-length win. Alice's Restaurant went a tough trip challenging the winner on the outside and still held on for second. Perfect M Forever finished third with Brad Hanners in the bike. Earlier, in a $20,000 distaff pace, All Or None just got up for Corey Callahan for a 1:50 triumph, just shy of the 1:49.4 track record for a four-year-old mare set by the legendary Rainbow Blue. Alpine Gold N (Tetrick) cut out all the fractions until the final step. Boca Hanover (Frank Milby) was the show finisher. North State Street Stable owns the daughter of Cam's Card Shark-Heather's Western trained by Dylan Davis. While Ms Ed (Wolfenden) and Bluffs Real Deal (Tetrick) were battling it out on the front end, Vic Kirby swung Jeff and Paul Long's 25-1 Infinite Desire to the outside and the Jenna's Beach Boy-High Roller Ash four-year-old chopped down the leaders in deep stretch for a lifetime fastest 1:53 victory in a $19,000 3,4&5-Year-Old Filly and Mare pace. Ms. Ed held on for second in front of Braggin Hanover (Ben Stafford Jr.) the lone sophomore in the nine-distaff field. George Dennis made his second trip to the winner's circle guiding Jeff Clark's Itz Cherry Ripe N to a career equaling 1:52 score in a $17,000 Mares pace. Lockes Of Love (Ross Wolfenden) was runner-up. Eater Egg Hunt (Ron Pierce) was third. Spunky Vic made good use of starting from post 1 in a wire-to-wire 1:55.2 performance taking the $14,000 feature trot in a new lifetime record time. Vince Copeland steered the Valley Victor-B Cor Spunky gelding for owner-trainer Arty Foster notching her first win of the campaign. Uwantapieceofme (Dennis) closed with a rush to finish second in front off Gurf (Tetrick). Glenn DelRusso and driver Daryl Bier's Docdor Cam recorded his third win in nine starts this year holding off Dill And Grace A (Tetrick) in a 1:53 mile to win a $14,000 pace for females.
