Shady Sabrina, second last week and overlooked this time at 9-1, became Tim Tetrick's fifth consecutive victory on a rain-drenched Tuesday card, winning the $30,000 Mares Open Handicap at Dover Downs.

As a strong field of feature-race pacing distaff turned for home, Shady Sabrina had not received a contender's mention. Tetrick hustled the Cam's Dignity-Mymymymysharona 8 year old from a wall of challengers behind race leader Native Hotspur (Tony Morgan) and emerged from the pack to score a 1:54.4 triumph, her third of the year for owners Golden Hour Stables and KDK Standardbreds. Lofty Widget finished second for Ron Pierce with Apache Dame and Ross Wolfenden coming from off-the-pace to take third. The victory boosts the Dale Elliott-trained Shady Sabrino's 2010 earnings to $54,900.

Kellytuck Sophie scored her fourth win of the New Year in the sub-feature $24,000 Mares Jr. Open with a 1:54 performance. Graham Grace and M&W stables and trainer Bib Roberts own the Cam's Magic Trick -Kellytuck Ann 8 year old, now with a 2010 bankroll of $47,040. Alice's Restaurant finished second ending Tetrick's five straight win streak. Alpine Gold N (Morgan) was third. (Dover Downs)
