Eric Sharbaugh, executive vice president of the U.S. Trotting Association, will be leaving that position effective July 1. Sharbaugh was the eighth individual in the history of the organization to hold those positions. He served in that capacity at the USTA since March 2005.
The USTA's board of directors were notified of Sharbaugh's impending departure from the USTA via email on Tuesday. The USTA's Executive Committee will meet on June 10 to discuss his departure and the search for his replacement.
