October 07, 2006 Send To A Friend  | Print View

Shark Gesture's hot streak continued as the son of Cam's Card Shark won for the fourth straight time in the first of two $288,000 Tattersalls divisions at The Red Mile Saturday afternoon. With Geore Brennan driving, Shark Gesture rallied for a career-best 1:49.1 victory, defeating Western Guy and Tyrant Hanover.

Norm and Gerald Smiley and TLP Stable share ownership of Shark Gesture. Erv Miller is the trainer. His win streak began in a Lexington Open Sept. 1, and also includes a win in a Simpson division and a Bluegrass division.

The second Tattersalls division went to a game Dave Panlone, who sprung a 17-1 shocker for driver Brian Sears in 1:49.2. Sandro Hanover was second with Scootin Delight third.

The win was Dave Panlone's fourth of the year and comes after three straight third-place finishes, including the Cane Pace final and the Bluegrass division behind Shark Gesture. Jim Arledge Jr. trains the winner for owners James Stambaugh and Milton Leeman.
