Bob Kinsey Jr. and Bill Oberle Jr.'s Sixteen Candles ($10.80, Kinsey) improved to two-for-two at Harrington Raceway this year with a 1:54.3 triumph in a division of the $21,000 Mares Junior Open on Tuesday.

The 5-year-old Tune Town mare found room in the stretch and surged by pacesetting Poppy Lustre N for her 16th career win. She has banked more than $165,000 lifetime and became the first repeat winner in the class this meet. The remaining Mares Junior Open divisions were won by Bill and Richard Fritts Fritzie Bunnie ($3.60, Mike Cole, 1:55.3) and Adam Friedland's Witch Trials ($10.60, Jim Morand, 1:55.3).

Driver Tony Morgan won five races on the program. (Harrington)
