October 18, 2006 Send To A Friend  | Print View

Winbak Farm and John and Earl Wagner's Double Flip earned her second straight win in the second $15,000 leg of the Delaware Standardbred Breeders Fund (DSBF) stakes for 2-year-old pacing fillies Tuesday at Harrington Raceway with a 1:57.4 win over a "sloppy" track.

Driven by Tony Morgan, the Badlands Hanover filly took the lead from entrymate One More Round approaching three-quarters and held her safe for the win. The Manley Brown Jr. trainee has won four of eight lifetime starts.

In the remaining two divisions, Lester Walls and Jack Upchurch's Dressed For Summer (1:59.1, Roger Plante Jr.) and Linda Graleski and Ron Graleski's Love and Truth (1:58.4, Jim Morand) were victorious. The $100,000 finals for all 2-year-old divisions will be Wednesday, Oct. 25.

On the undercard, Kathleen Davis' Seamstresforthepan (1:56, Eddie Davis) won the $14,500 Filly and Mare Junior Open. (Harrington)
