Shaman Hall (Billy Dobson) made it to the front at the :28 quarter on the half-mile track. Keykeeper (Mike Micallef) moved first from third to take the lead but Production (Peter Wrenn) came from fourth to take over at the half in :57.1. Shaman Hall took back the lead and looked to be the winner but Smoking Gun came flying down the middle of the stretch for driver Art McIlmurray for the win. Shaman Hall was second, Production held on for third and Foggy Lane K (Danny Johnson) was fourth.
