Five $20,000 divisions of the Delaware Standardbred Breeders Fund Stakes (DSBF) for 2-year-old pacing fillies were contested Tuesday at Harrington Raceway, with Clayton Goad and John Brown's Snatch The Fortune (Roger Plante Jr. 1:56.1) the fastest winner. Trainer George Teague won two divisions with Sheisaknockout (Jim Morand, 1:57.1) and Pretty Knockout (Morand, 1:57:2). Ricky Pryor and Erika Paradee's Royal Fortune (Victor Kirby, 1:57.1) and Art and Andrew Stafford's Badlands Power (Art Stafford Jr., 1:56.2) also won their divisions respectively. The second leg will be held Oct. 16, and the $100,000 final on Oct. 23, closing night for the fall meet. Wednesday marks the draw of the eliminations for the inaugural Bobby Quillen Memorial ($360,000, total purses est.). There are 58 nominees including some of the sport's top aged pacers for the event. Elims are scheduled for Oct. 15, with the final on Oct. 22. (Harrington)
