Enhance The Wind, who extended her winning streak to three, and longshot Fionavar Hanover each won a
$15,000 division of the second round of the Snow Angel Series for 3-year-old pacing fillies on Thursday night at the Meadowlands. The top 10 money earners will return for a $47,300 final for the Snow Angel on Dec. 14.

Enhance The Wind ($3.20) rejected a two-ply challenge from Quick Chick and Ima Sporty Lady on the backstretch and went on to win the first division by 3 1/4 lengths over Leavea Smile. Spanish Rosey was 6 3/4 lengths back in third.

Enhance The Wind, owned by Perfect World Enterprises of Old Westbury, N.Y., now has victories in both of her Snow Angel prelims. Trained by Erv Miller, she was driven to victory by Yannick Gingras. She paced
the mile in 1:53.2, posting her fifth win with three seconds and five thirds from 19 starts.

Fionavar Hanover ($17.40) drew off to a three-quarter-length tally over Ms. Maggie in the second division. The time of the mile was 1:54 flat. It was another length and a half to Mysterious Dragon in third.

Odds-on favorite Heavenly Beauty faded to tenth, snapping her winning streak at three.

Fionavar Hanover, racing in the names of Sylvia Burke, Frank Baldachino and Howard Taylor, picked up her fifth win with nine seconds and three thirds in 31 starts this year. Driven by Daniel Dube, the daughter of The Panderosa is trained by Mickey Burke. (Meadowlands)
