Somebeachsomewhere tribute at Mohawk

In 2007 and 2008, Mohawk racetrack was the home track for Somebeachsomewhere, and now the track is honoring the great pacer and his trainer, Brent MacGrath, with a wall-sized pictorial collage of his amazing career, just inside the main entrance to the grandstand.

The Somebeachsomewhere tribute wall also features an adjacent kiosk, which houses a computer and touch screen. Touch the screen and you can select any one of Somebeachsomewhere’s 21 races on demand, and watch it on the flatscreen TV above.

It’s a great way to relive the thrills provided by this dazzlingly powerful colt, who proudly flew the Maple Leaf wherever he went. (Mohawk)
