Allan Pullman, Barry Glickstein and Eddie Davis' Sway Charles ($3.60) won his sixth straight race and continued his impressive 3-year-old campaign with a 1:53.1 win at Harrington Raceway Monday. Driven by Allan Davis, the 3-year-old Real Artist colt assumed command after the half mile and held off The Other Cheek and Sniper Hall for the win. He has won seven of eight lifetime starts for trainer Martin Davis.
In the $18,100 Junior Open feature, Arty Foster Jr's Village Blitz ($3.60, Tim Tetrick) was triumphant in 1:52. The 7-year-old Village Jiffy gelding earned his third win of the meet. The slowest race on the program was 1:55.1, as 12 of the races went in sub-1:54, a new track record for fastest miles on one card. (Harrington)
