Special Report wins Open Pace in 1:51.3

Special Report hustled hard in the final strides to win the $46,500 Open Pace on Saturday night at the Meadowlands.

Driver Larry Stalbaum angled Special Report around traffic to win the night’s seventh race in 1:51.3. Casimir Camotion finished a length behind to come in second and Fox Valley Tribal was behind him in third. Special Report paid $5.00 to win.

Trained by Kimberly Asher, the six-year-old gelded son of Keystone Raider boosted his total career earnings to more than $600,000 for owner Hugo Iodice of Bayonne, New Jersey. (Meadowlands)
