According to reports, New Jersey Governor Jon Corzine plans to call a special session of the legislature Wednesday in an attempt to end the state’s budget crisis. Assemblyman Joseph Cryan said the governor plans to lay out his arguments for a sales tax increase as necessary to close a $4.5 billion budget shortfall.
