Stablemates Western Terror and Timesareachanging won their respective Progress Pace eliminations at Dover Downs Sunday night. The two Brett Pelling trainees will lead the field for the $350,000 final Sunday night, Nov. 14.

Western Terror, driven by Brian Sears, wore down the pacesetting Quik Pulse Mindale (Tony Morgan) down the stretch to win by one length in 1:50.3, one-fifth of a second off the track record set by Riverboat King in the 2000 Progress Pace. Holborn Hanover finished third for George Brennan.

Timesareachanging only needed a 1:53 effort to win the second Progress Pace elim for driver Ron Pierce. Crombes Last Laugh (John Campbell) was second with Squaw's Fella (Sears) third.
