Stallion Amigo Hall relocating to Ohio

Return Home
January 15, 2013 | Print View

Marvin Raber of the Marvin Raber Farm and Robert Burgess, syndicate manager of the Amigo Hall Syndicate, have announced that prominent sire and Hambletonian winner Amigo Hall 3,1:54s ($1,046,000) will be moving to Mr. Raber's impressive breeding farm near Charm, Ohio for the 2013 breeding season.

Amigo Hall, by supersire Balanced Image, represents an outcross opportunity to breed to the most successful son of the world's highest money producing trotting stallion of all time. Amigo Hall's outcross dam hails from the same maternal family as that of his arch rival Mr Muscleman, Malabar Man and Kadabra. The ability of Amigo Hall's progeny to leave fast and to excel on half mile tracks should make him particularly attractive to Ohio breeders. His large size and tall height should add to his appeal for breeders.

Amigo Hall will join The Panderosa, No Pan Intended and Full Count at Mr. Raber's farm. The 2013 service fee for Amigo Hall will be $2,500 with multiple breedings available at $2,000 each. Amigo Hall's foals will be eligible to the Ohio Sire Stakes and to the Breeders Crown.

In his relatively brief career at stud Amigo Hall has already produced the winners of over $7 million, featuring the 2012 two-year-old filly sensation, Legzy 2,1:59f ($210,000); Arriba Amigo 4,1:53.4 ($324,000), the winner of three Open trots at Yonkers in 2012, and the winner of 2011 Allerage Trot at The Red Mile in track record time, Friendly Amigo 1:52.2 ($588,000).
