Hickory Lane Farm of Findlay, Ohio, has announced Dawn Ofa New Day will stand stud there for the 2006 breeding season. A son of Western Ideal out of the stakes-winning mare Dawn Q, Dawn Ofa New Day has a mark of 3, 1:50.3 and earnings of $474,473.



Dawn Ofa New Day won six of 10 starts at two, including dead-heat finish with Rocknroll Hanover in a Champlain division. Earlier this year at three Dawn Ofa New Day captured the $500,000 Hoosier Cup and he also finished third in both his elimination and final of the Messenger and Dancer Memorial.



In other stallion news, Pfeiffer Farms has announced its pacing stallion Givemewhatineed and trotting stallion Feel Like A Winner will both be standing the 2006 breeding season at its farm in Ocala, Fla.
