The three Standardbreds who serve as the caparisoned (riderless) horses for military funerals in
Participants are all active duty soldiers and the horses are those serving their country as well.
The three Standardbreds in the show are All Aboard Jules (now named Sargeant York), who served as the riderless horse in President Ronald Reagan's funeral, along with Decision Street (Omar) and Elite Soul Man (Kennedy).
One of the Standardbreds depicts Paul Revere's horse, who was believed to be a Narragansett Pacer, a now-extinct breed that contributed to the modern Standardbred.
Tickets are free, but must be obtained in advance by mail, through the arenas or Ticketmaster (a small fee applies). Both venues--the Verizon Wireless Center in Manchester and Mellon Arena in Pittsburgh--have day time performances suitable for school groups.
