Leading sophomore colt pacers Kenneth J and Sutter Hanover both won their respective qualifiers at the Meadowlands Thursday, while 2006 Three-Year-Old Filly Pacer of the Year Darlin's Delight also came up victorious. It was the second qualifying efforts of the year for each.

New York Sire Stakes champion and Breeders Crown runner-up Kenneth J, who won his debut qualifier May 3 in 1:51.3, won his Thursday contest in 1:51.4. Ron Pierce was in the bike for trainer Linda Toscano and owner Ken Jacobs. Last year Kenneth J, a son of Bettor's Delight, earned $421,990.

Sutter Hanover finished eighth in his season debut May 3, but this time around was impressive as he scored a 1:52.1 victory for driver David Miller. Sitting fifth at the :56.2 half, Sutter Hanover rallied for the victory, pacing his own final half in :54.4, last quarter in :26.4.

A son of Dragon Again, Sutter Hanover finished off his juvenile campaign with a Governor's Cup victory. Trained by Mark Harder, Sutter Hanover's rookie season resulted in earnings of $326,705 for owners Deena Frost, Sampson Street Stable, Fox Hollow Farm and TLP Stable.

Darlin's Delight was a 1:51.2 winer for driver Yannick Gingras, trainer Jeff Stafford and owner White Birch Farm. The daughter of Bettor's Delight was a 10-time winner last year on her way to divisional honors, with those victories including the Fan Hanover, Rose of Tralee, Lady Maud and Lynch final.
