Mystical Sunshine got up in the final strides to edge the leading Olympics and win the $220,075 Matron final for 3-year-old filly trotters at Dover Downs.

With Ron Pierce driving, Mystical Sunshine followed the cover of Bramasole (Eric Ledford) around the final turn before rushing past Olympics and John Campbell to score in 1:55.4. Ivy Swinger (David Miller) took third while Bramasole held game for fourth, beaten only 1 1/4 lengths.

A daughter of Yankee Glide, Mystical Sunshine is trained by Chris Ryder for owners Alvin Jacobson and Sid Korn. The win was her 10th of the year in 20 starts, increasing her seasonal bankroll to more than $440,000.
