The sport's top dash-winning driver, Tim Tetrick, drove both feature race winners as part of a five-win night Monday at Dover Downs, with Roddy's Bags Again taking the $37,500 Preferred Pace and Art Director winning the $35,000 Delaware Special. Ron Pierce had a driving quadruple.

Roddy's Bags Again picked up his first win of the year while holding off a fast-finishing Armbro Baylor in deep stretch for a 1:51 victory with Tetrick notching his fourth win of night.

Tetrick left and finally took the lead at the quarter, and then fought off a strong challenge from the Brad Hanners-driven Keystone Rodeo on the backstretch while leading the rest of the way. Armbro Baylor enjoyed a two-hole trip with Tony Morgan while Dream Rocket and Ross Wolfenden took place honors.

Roddy's Bags Again is trained by Tim Torbert and breeder-owner Bob Messick of Milford, Del. The Dragon Again 5 year old has now won $59,692 already this year and $723,680 lifetime.

After two straight second-lace finishes, Art Director made the winner's circle for Tetrick after chopping down front-pacing Thin Blue Line with Pierce after a long head-to-head duel. Prince Of Luck closed strongly for Ross Wolfenden to finished second in front of Make A Success and Tony Morgan.

It was the second win of the season for the Bobby Clark-trained Art Director, owned by Kovach Stables of Milford, Del. The Artiscape 6 year old has now won $63,845 in 2007 and $509,330 in his career.

Pierce moved Fred and Anita Fialkow's Nvincibl Artist into the lead in front of the grandstand and cut out the rest of 1:50.4 winning mile in the $27,500 Open/Handicap Pace. Coldheartedrevenge came on for Brandon Givens to finish second while Brian Sears pulled Cheyenne Hollywood out of seventh at the three-quarters and moved five wide in the stretch to race past horses to finish third.

Pierce drove Wayne Givens and Donick Stable' What A View to the Cam's Card Shark gelding's third win in his last six starts a 1:52.4 decision in one of three $21,000 winners-over paces. Puk Puk Power N sailed from seventh for Sears to close for second in front of early leader Bully McCool N and Morgan.

Jack Davis' Hot Lather scored his second consecutive front-pacing victory in another $21,000 winners-over event. Black Reef N with David Miller was runner-up. Fields Of Honour A, driven by Hanners, secured third. The winner, a 5 year old by Badlands Hanover driven by Tetrick, set a lifetime standard of 1:52 in the victory.

Tetrick also guided Jasper Bob home in 1:52 for Wanda Saulsbury and Arty Foster III to win the other $21,000 winners-over. Wizdell with David Miller was second. Next Flight, handled by Sears, finished third.

Morgan and Three Point Acres' Perdition came on late for a 1:54.1 triumph in a $12,500 male pace beating Vantastic Wizzard (Tetrick) and The Deputy Is Home (Jim Morand).

Cerignola, owned by Josh Parker, Jane Live and Nanticoke Racing, came on in the stretch for Givens to score a 1:52.2 victory in the first of two $40,000 claiming allowances. SF Supreme (Morgan) was next. Mattnifesto (Tetrick) closed boldly to finish third.

Sears and Skedaddle Hanover were impressive in a 1:52.2 conquest in the other $40,000 claimer. Ruff Door (Miller) took the place with Mattazuma (Tetrick) third.

Tetrick won his fifth on the program when he reined Bill Emmons' Foolish Pleasure, overlooked at 10-1, to a 1:53 win in a $30,000 claiming pace. Red Man N (Morgan) took second. Limerick (Wolfenden) was next.

Tetrick has won 153 races already in 2007 and 271 wins this meet. (Dover Downs)
