Swift Kid extended his winning streak to six with a victory in the $35,000 New Jersey Sire Stakes–Green Acres final for 3-year-old trotting colts and geldings Friday afternoon at Freehold Raceway. The son of Yankee Glide, driven by Jack Baggitt Jr. and trained by Ray Remmen, has not lost a race since Aug. 5. He now has seven wins, three seconds and three thirds from 16 starts and earnings of $56,100 for owner John Lichtenberger of North Bergen, N.J. Swift Kid ($9, $3, $2.10), a gelded son of Yankee Glide who was unraced at two, trotted the mile in a career-best 1:59.3, catching 3-5 favorite Rin Tin Cin for a half-length victory. It was a length and three-quarters back to Native Yankee in third. Fr Rin Tin Cin, a son of Muscles Yankee, the loss snapped a four-race winning streak.
