Wild Ride Hanover improved to a perfect seven-for-seven on the season with an impressive 1:52.4 win in the third leg of the McNamara’s Pacing Series on Friday night at Tioga Downs.

The sophomore Western Ideal filly powered by pacesetter Parlay Hanover down the stretch with Josh Marks in the sulky to keep her record unblemished in 2007. Wild Ride Hanover was a $14,000 yearling purchase at the New Jersey Classic Sale by the Radio Racing Stable and Algonquin Farms. She is trained by Linda Toscano.

Allamerican Rand and Bruce Clarke pulled off the upset victory in the other division of the McNamara’s Pacing Series at odds of 12-1. The mile of 1:54.3 established a new lifetime mark for the 3-year-old daughter of Life Sign.

Speedy Edie added another win to her resume in the third leg of the Tioga Country Club trotting series. The 3-year-old daughter of SJ’s Caviar showcased her talent in the first leg of the series with an impressive win before shipping to the Meadows where she won a leg of the Pennsylvania Sire Stakes. Merle LaFountaine and his filly trotter picked up right where they left off with a front end victory in 1:56.1 with Howard Parker at the controls.

Parker, Clarke and Josh Marks all posted driving doubles on the night’s 10-race card. (Tioga Downs)
