Trailing by five lengths at the half, Tamarind unleashed his customary late kick to capture Tuesday's $18,000 winners over $10,000 life/Preferred Handicap Trot at The Meadows.
Tamarind followed the live first-over cover of Therapeutic before charging wide through the lane for Aaron Merriman. He scored in 1:54, 1 1/4 lengths better than the rallying Trustworthy Kid, who was pinned on the cones until late. Therapeutic hung on for show.
