Tattersalls set for Sunday

The Tattersalls July Mixed Sale, slated to begin at 1 p.m. on Sunday, caps off an exciting weekend of stakes action at the Meadowlands that features the track’s signature event, the $1-million Meadowlands Pace on Saturday night.

With 105 lots for sale and an 18-horse supplement, the annual mixed sale features a large selection of racehorses, many of which have competed successfully at the Big M and on the Ontario circuit and are ready to go on with for the fall.

These include the pair of recent three-year-old winners Ideal Michael (The Panderosa), who just scored in a career best 1:52.2 at Mohawk on July 10, and Poker Dice (Cam’s Card Shark), who also took a career mark of 1:52.1 at Mohawk a day earlier. Both horses are well-staked for the remainder of their sophomore seasons.
