Tell all that Tell All is the Pepsi North America Cup winner. The Real Desire 3-year-old colt swept past Yankee Skyscaper rounding the final turn and drew off to a convincing 1:50.3 victory in the $1,500,000 Pepsi North America Cup Saturday night at Mohawk Racetrack. Sutter It was Domitian Hanover who sprinted from post five to the lead first, but Artriverderci and John Campbell were on top at the :26.2 quarter. But that lead didn’t last as Brian Sears put Kenneth J on the lead, but before he could get to the half, Yankee Skyscaper and George Brennan swept into the lead and passed the half-way mark in :54.3 with Tell All looming first-over. Yankee Skyscaper passed the three quarters in 1:23.2, but Tell All was on his tail. Brennan pulled the earplugs, but that didn’t help Yankee Skyscaper as Tell went right on by. Kenneth J had an open lane at the rail but could not mount a challenge as Sutter Hanover and Watta Hotshot rallied on the outside to be second and third, respectively. “I moved him a little early, but he was grabby and wanted to be out there, so I just moved him and let him sit,” said driver Jody Jamieson. “This horse has done everything I’ve ever asked him; I asked him to pace coming out of the last turn. Probably got a little over anxious driving for the wire cause he just jogged.” Unraced at two, TellAll, a son of Real Desire, has won 6 of 11 starts this year for trainer Blair Burgess (who trained Real Desire to Horse of the Year honors in 2002) and the My Desire Stable (Bob Burgess, Leah Cheverie, John Fodera, Martha Frank, Milton Frank, Mac Nichol, Karin Olsson-Burgess and Brittany Farms).
