Terry Tucker dies at 57

Funeral services for Kentucky horseman Terry Tucker, 57, who died in Florida Thursday after a short battle with cancer, will be held at 7 p.m. Saturday at the Gary Panoch Funeral Home in Boca Raton. Burial will be in his hometown of Campbellsville, Ky. For many years Tucker trained and drove horses throughout the Midwest, especially at tracks in his home state. for the past seven years he had worked managing the South Florida Trotting Center for Eric Cherry.

In addition to training horses such as Kentucky Sire Stakes winner Maidstone Hall, Tucker was active with the Kentucky Harness Horsemen's Association during his years working as a horseman in Kentucky. He had attended the fall Grand Circuit meet and yearling sale in Lexington this fall.
