Pacific Filly, overlooked at 6-1, could not be caught in the $26,000 Filly and Mare Open Handicap Pace on another windy and chilly card Tuesday at Dover Downs, with Tony Morgan having a four-bagger and Tim Tetrick also winning four races to bring his record total of wins currently to 1,113. In the sub-feature $16,000 distaff pace, Morgan and Fritzie Bunnie took advantage of a drop down from the Open class to chalk up a 1:55.3 front-pacing victory for Trish Foulk who trains for Bill and Richard Fritts. Dance Hall (Vic Kirby) closed well to finish second with Easter Egg Hint (Roger Plante) third. The win was Fritzie Bunnie's seventh of the year and pushes seasonal earnings to $105,639. Morgan came right back to win for the third time steering Second Chance to a 1:54.4 win for Gary Reynolds. It was the Tim Crissman-conditioned Cambest filly's ninth win of the season. Love And Lust N (Callahan) came on late to finish a half-length behind. Western Miss (Ross Wolfenden) was the third finisher. Mapua Magic N made it two wins in a row as Callahan piloted the Holmes Hanover mare, owned by Rodney Long and Tim Hundertpfund, to a 1:54.3 victory in an $11,000 pace for females. Lets Thank Heaven (Wolfenden) was second with Flirty Feathers (George Dennis) the show horse. (Dover Downs)
