Tim Tetrick broke his own single season earnings record in the fifth race at Harrah's Chester on Sunday, with the win with Candy's Pool putting him over his 2007 record $18,350,047 in earnings. Tetrick reached this milestone with just under 1,000 less starts and 355 less wins than 2007. He credits much his success this year to being aboard Crazed, the first 3-year-old trotter to beat Deweycheatumnhowe, in the elimination of the Canadian Trotting Derby.
