Tetrick, Morgan win 4 at DD

Scootin Scholar (1:52.3) and Midnight Express (1:54.2) won the co-feature races on Saturday, Feb .3, at Dover Downs. Tim Tetrick and Tony Morgan each won four races.

Scootin Scholar was all alone in the stretch, notching a convincing win in the $15,000 Delaware male pace. Brandon Givens drove the winner for Ron Waller and Nanticoke Racing. Diamonds Revenge (Corey Callahan) was the second finisher followed by Paisan Hall (Brad Hanners).

Tony Morgan won his fourth on the card sending Midnight Express into an early lead and the holding off Cross The Line (Tim Tetrick) during the last quarter en route to a score in the $14,500 four & five-year-old male pace. Allamerican Padre (Brad Hanners) was the show horse.

Tim Tetrick's fourth win came squiring Max Walton's Rendarosa to a 1:55 triumph in the first of two $12,000 four & five-year-old male paces. Search And Resue (Jim Morand) came on to finish second in front of GE's Gilmour (Tony Morgan).

The other division was taken by Mossdale Gambit N, owned by Barry and Debra Unger and trainer Dan Murray. The New Zealand-bred won for third time this meet, his second in three starts, as Roger Plante took the Jeremys Gambit gelding right to the top and cut out all the pace in a 1:54.1 mile. Fox Valley Quache (Tony Morgan) closed late to take second with Im A Foolman Too (Jack Parker Jr.) third.

Odds-On favorite Bachelorboy, owned and trained by Arty Foster Jr., and Tony Morgan came strongly in the stretch to post a 1:53 score in one of two $10,000 Male paces. Cowboy Again (Tim Tetrick) was next. Real Art (Corey Callahan) cut out the pace and held on to finish third.

N the other division, Roger Plante moved Mike Horsey's Strait At Ya into the lead at the start and prevailed with a 1:54.2 performance. Sam's Clever Boy (Tony Morgan) took second. Arizona Liar (Brewer Adams) was the show finisher.

Tony Poliseno's Johnny Peanuts, reined by Carlo Poliseno, romped to a 1:59.1 triumph in the $10,700 Delaware top trot on the program. Hi Roller K (Tim Tetrick) closed to beat Camp Commando (Brad Hanners) for place money.
