Return Home
January 22, 2007 Send To A Friend  | Print View

Tim Tetrick and Tony Morgan drove three winners each on a snowy Sunday at Dover Downs. Tetrick took the $16,000 Delaware pace feature with Flaming Moe, who scored in 1:54.4 over a track labeled as "good."

Todd Wise and Jeff Franklin's former Maritime standout Flaming Moe made his first 2007 start a winning one for leading driver Tetrick. Flaming Moe attacked pacesetter Paisan Hall (Eddie Davis Jr.) on the last turn and took control of the race when the leader broke stride halfway down the lane. Solid Hanover (Brad Hanners) came on strongly to finish second. C'mon C'mon C'mon (Brandon Givens) was the third place finisher.

Amy Warrington's Arden's Trump N got away to a quick start for Steve Warrington, then shook off a threat for The Other Cheek (Eddie Dennis) at the three quarters and then from Up Front Boy (Brandon Givens) around the last turn to roll to a 1:55 victory in a $14,000 pace. Up Front Boy held on for second.

Tony Morgan won his third race of the night guiding Wendy Crissman and Wayne Pryor Estate's Quality Import to a 1:54.2 score in another $14,000 event. Tetrick was the runner-up with Cross The Line. (Dover Downs press release)
