It's one record down and one to go for Tim Tetrick as the 25-year-old driver broke Brian Sears' single-season earnings record Tuesday at Dover Downs, with his five wins on the program placing him just 81 shy of equaling Walter Case Jr.'s record 1,077 victories in 1998.
With his $4,000 winner's check for directing Price Check to a victory in the 15th and final race on the card, Tetrick increased his 2007 earnings to $15,088,714, surpassing Sears' $15,085,992 amassed two years ago.
