Despite effects of a "Nor'easter" blasting heavy rain and strong winds, Breeze Hill Will continued his late Fall success story, scoring a 1:56.1 victory in the $24,000 Open Handicap trot on a cold and dank Wednesday, at Dover Downs. Tim Tetrick drove Breeze Hill Will to the victory, one of his five wins on the card, including a "hat trick" of all three feature trots.

Tetrick raced Breeze Hill Will from behind early leader Self Professed, driven by Brad Hanners, until the top of the stretch. Self Professed cut out all the early fractions and shook off a challenge by Jake's Nordic (Tim Curtin) during the middle stages of the mile. Breeze Hill Will was well rested when Tetrick took the 9 year old son of King Conch to the outside and sped past the leader in a :28.3 final panel to chalk up his fifth win with two second in his last seven outings for trainer Chuck Crissman and owners Wayne Pryor and Wendy Crissman. Dyno Trevbor sat second the mile with Tony Morgan and closed to edge Self Professed for second.

The race was the 42nd of the year for Breeze Hill Will who has 13 wins, six seconds and seven thirds to his credit in 2006. He has won $175,304 this season and $423, 377 in his career.

The rejuvenated Rusty's Biggie made it look easy taking the $20,000 Jr. Open trot in 1:55.2. Tom Kirby trains the CR Commando gelding for Horsemans Financial and Premier Racing Stable in his eighth win of the season. Saint Johns Boy and Tony Morgan were next best. Honolulu Hunk with Frank Milby was the show finisher.

Tetrick, the current leading driver at the track, also made the winner's circle with White Hollow Bob, who posted his first win at the track for owners Ken Wood and Bob Killian. The altered son of Muscles Yankee carved out a career-fastest 1:57.3 victory in a $13,000 conditioned trot. Game Speed (Corey Callahan) led in the stretch until the final strides and finished second. Pretty Goal Vita (Jim King) was third.

Trainer George Teague's parade of juvenile winners continues. Firiel Hanover made it four wins in a row scoring a commanding 1:55.2 win in a $13,000 Filly and Mare pace. Jim Morand drove the Camluck sophomore to a lifetime record win. Wish Of A Lifetime (Ross Wolfenden) was the place horse. Lady Best finished third.

Arden's Trump N, made his second straight trip to the winner's circle since arriving from New Zealand in a $10,200 Delaware pace. Steve Warrington drove the 4-year-old Jeremys Gambit gelding to victory in 1:57 for Amy Warrington. Take The Lead (Tony Morgan) took second in front of dead-heated B Dee's Artist (Tim Tetrick) and Jennaration (Brad Hanners).

Tetrick completed a five-win night ushering Bill Emmons' Cloudy Heights N out of second to overtake Jason William N (Toby Lynch) in the stretch for a 1:54.1 victory in a $25,000 Claiming Allowance. Rocco's Rocket (Roger Plante) took show honors.

Tony Morgan and Brad Hanners had driving doubles.

There is no live racing at the track on Thursday, Thanksgiving Day. Racing resumes on Saturday. (Dover Downs)
