The "Ps" performed professionally Friday night with Pancleefandarpels and Princetonian dividing Yonkers Raceway glory in the co-featured $31,000 Open Handicaps.

Pancleefandarpels (Jordan Stratton) won the Filly and Mare Open Handicp Pace, working out a second-ver trip from post five. Symphony in Motion (Brent Holland), who failed to pick up her feet as the choice a week ago, owned the early lead here. She showed the way through intervals of  :28, :57.4 and 1:26.2, while dealing with the first-up intrusion of Elusive Prey (Ryan Anderson).

Pancleefandarpels swung wide in the lane and busted the distaff derby wide open. She strolled home by 2 1/2 lengths in a season's-best 1:55.2. Twin B Tiara  (Greg Grimsore) was the best of the rest, with JK Pure Pearl (Jason Bartlett), Elusive Prey and Symphony in Motion completing the cashers.

For Pancleefandarpels, a 5-year-old daughter of Noble Ability trained by Erv Miller for Peter Pan Stables, she paid $9 (third choice) for her second win in a half-dozen '09 efforts. The victress led a $70 exacta and $654 triple.

The week's featured trot saw Princetonian (Holland) pocket-protect his way to happiness.

Indiana Hall (Pat Berry) rolled the octet past fractions of :29.1, :59.2 and 1:28.4, with Summertime Yankee (Jim Pantaleano) uncovered and Oatmeister (Grismore) second-up. Princetonian--returning to the adult table after a 27-1 upset a week ago--was all dressed up, awaiting some place to go.

Once he saw the passing lane, he passed. Princetonian won by a length in a seasonal-best 1:58.1,with Beach Nut Brand (Jeff Gregory) closing for second. Armbro Aristocrat (Mark Gingrich), 7-10 fave American Lane (Manzi) and Summertime Yankee grabbed the small change.

American Lane, going after a fifth consecutive Open win, couldn't negotiate an eight hole for the first time in a month.
For Princetonian, a 5-year-old Dream Vacation gelding co-owned by Ray Remmen and John Lichtenberger, he returned $23.60 (fourth choice). (Yonkers)
