The Quiet Mon and Jason Dillander went wire to wire in 1:54.2 and captured the $105,000Abe Lincoln Stakes for 2-year-old colt and gelding pacers at Maywood Park Friday night, scoring by two lengths over He’s A Big Star and Sam Widger.

Dillander hustled the Richess Hanover gelding out from post four and his charge was never in danger as he glided through fractions of :29.1, :58.2 and 1:26.3 en route to his third straight stakes triumph and seventh victory of the year in nine starts. John Butenschoen trains and co-owns the winner of $215,100 this year with Ed Bardowski, Lorelie Knor and Sandra Zilli.
