Three feature paces went postward Monday night at Dover Downs, highlighted by Armbro Animate's 1:52.1 win in the $36,000 Preferred Handicap. Top trainer Josh Green won three races, including two of the features.

Driven by Tony Morgan, the 6-year-old Artsplace gelding came from off the pace again to win by a neck over favorite Casimir Bad Boy (Eddie Davis Jr.). Black Cat Bone (Ron Pierce) was third.

Armbro Animate has now won over $900,000 lifetime. He is owned by Rose and George Bonomo and trained by Green.

E Shopper benefited from a second-over trip to win the $32,000 Delaware Special in 1:52 with Jim Morand aboard.

Village Blitz (Ron Pierce) pushed first-over late, clocking a blistering :27.4 third quarter. E Shopper rounded into the stretch on top and won by 1 ¾ lengths.

The win is the fifth in ten starts and a lifetime-best clocking for the 6-year-old gelded son of Cam's Magic Trick. He is owned Green Racing Inc. and Jim Morand and trained by Green.

Gold Rocket A scratched out a blue-collar win in the $26,000 Open Handicap in 1:51.

David Miller steered the 3-5 favorite first-over for most of the mile. He rewarded his backers by coming home in :28.2 to win by 1 ¼ lengths. Rascan John (Victor Kirby) was second with Bobnoxious (Tim Curtin) third.

Gold Rocket A is owned by Wayne Pryor and Wendy Crissman and trained by Chuck Crissman. The mile was a lifetime best for the 7-year-old son of Armbro Operative.
