Peter Tritton's Ball Gown A ($4, Ross Wolfenden) won her third straight race Wednesday at Harrington Raceway in the $17,500 featured event for mare pacers. The 8-year-old Presidential Ball mare was sent immediately to the lead and led wire to wire for a 1:55.1 triumph over Sixteen Candles and Boots Place. Tritton also trains Ball Gown A, who is approaching $450,000 in career earnings. Driver Tony Morgan continued his pursuit for 13,000 career wins. He won one race on the program to close within eight of the milestone. (Harrington)
