With a grueling speed duel between Southwind Tempo and Hana Hanover setting up the race, Tidewaterdragonfly bided her time before coming down the stretch to win the Fan Hanover by a length in 1:50.4. The Kelly O’Donnell trainee went off at odds of 7-2 to take the 25th edition of the $718,600 final at Mohawk. Three horses were parked to the quarter, including race favorite Southwind Tempo.
