September 12, 2006 Send To A Friend  | Print View

With the inaugural racing season at Tioga Downs now in the books, New York's newest harness racetrack will be the site of three boxing matches Friday night, Sept. 29. Although horses are no longer circling the oval, there is still plenty of action going on in the video gaming machine parlor, and track management.

The featured event of the boxing card is a heavyweight match that features Rochester-based Jermell Barnes, who has a 17-13 record with four knockouts, against Zack Page, with a record of 11-7 with four knockouts. A junior welterweight match will also be contested as will a match featuring two new professionals.

General admission tickets are priced at $25. Ringside tickets are $60.
