Kentuckiana Racing Stable’s Tiz A Masterpiece rebounded nicely from a sixth-place effort in the Meadowlands Pace to score a 1:49 victory in the $210,000 Oliver Wendell Holmes Saturday at the Meadowlands. Driven by Andy Miller, the Western Hanover colt outpaced Lis Deo and Harley D Hanover in the winning effort.
Once in front, the leader held off all challenges to win his fifth in 12 starts. The winning time established a new lifetime mark for the colt, bred by Kentuckiana Farms General Partnership. Unraced at two, Tiz A Masterpiece has now earned just over $198,000 in 2008.
