Tompkins-Geers Tioga party

Tioga Downs is inviting all owners, trainers, grooms and drivers involved with the Tompkins Geers races to enjoy fun and festivities July 23 and 24 courtesy of sponsors Allerage Farm, American Racing and Entertainment, Brittany Farms, Fashion Farms, Hanover Shoe Farm, Perretti Farms, the Standardbred Horse Sale Company and Walnut Hall Ltd.

After the races on Sunday, July 23, there will be a party in the “Tioga Tent” located on the apron that will include food, and drinks. Take this opportunity to come and visit the beautiful brand new five-eighths mile track located in the Southern Tier of New York.

Monday, July 24, there will be a golf outing at Tioga County Country Club which is open to anyone who would like to enter. The outing--a four-person scramble--will begin at 10 a.m. (EDT) with a shotgun start. The price to play is free to the first 72 people (18 foursomes), so sign up early by emailing or calling Jason Settlemoir today. Spaces will go quickly. You will also be able to sign up on Sunday night after the races in the “Tioga Tent,” paddock, or in the race office if space is still available. Prizes will be awarded for contests such as closest to the pin and longest drive.

All owners, trainers, drivers, and grooms of Tompkins Geers participating horses are welcome to be the track's guest at the “County Fair” buffet on Saturday, July 22, Sunday, July 23, and Monday July 24 as well.
